Seek in life, that which,
Delays the passing of a day,
In passing, memory,
Is most surely swept away.
And memory that refuses,
To listen to plea,
Is memory most assuming,
Unrequited be.
Advise when it's best,
And listen to the hearts strong will,
But thy brain can test,
The sureness of a bottom bill.
Though, tempt the string's hold,
It may taut pull strong,
And if fallen you're damaged goods,
T'was fate all along.
