Seeker Of Truth Poem by Naveed Akram

Seeker Of Truth

Rating: 5.0

O Seeker of Truth, let your arrows fly toward the sun,
Shoot the one who loves and cry after that since it begins.
What is the beginning? Of what?
The truth has begun, the lies have revolted, chained to hells,
Losing their lustre and rusting from too much hate.
The truth is the turtle glowing in the dark, it hurtles with shell on,
It flows from the waters of the oceans, and reappears on land.
This is the origin of truth, this is the helmet donned by those
In need of souls, your armour is like the drums beating.

O Seeker of Truth, keep sustaining the teller of warnings,
Make your miracle in the ends of space, with a geometer
To begin his or her chalice, and a rainbow to sing like a human.
This truth bespoke when the mountain fell to dust and sparks,
Yet colours are manifest, and tools of heavenly display are there.
Let the truth see itself with eyes of gold, talent of silver,
And diamond is generously dazzling, its an almond of stone,
It is bitter when digested, like the seekers of dire warnings.
