Selene Poem by Helen Crutchett

Selene

Night drips inky blackness
around a crescent moon,
as silent clouds delicately
float soft silver beams.
Stardust sinking into
slumber, blending
into dawn's renewing.
I awake to another Autumn story
remembering a Summer's love
and a long winter chill.
