Self-Control Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Self-Control

Rating: 1.5

Of evil jealousies, hatred, selfish ambitions, dissensions and envy;
Do away with them to enter into life with meekness and temperance.
He was born of the promise and,
The inward man is renewed day by day;
Like the richness of the Creator's pardon,
Who persuaded you to obey the truth? !
he was born of the flesh,
Like the law of sinners;
You lack self-control and Satan is close to you,
Like the exposure of your nakedness without the law.
Impending distress,
Run a race so that you may win a prize;
Like aletter to my kinsman.
