Send Me The Imaginary Axis Poem by Julian Carlos Co

Send Me The Imaginary Axis

Rating: 5.0

If I could be a dream
You won't ever wake up from your slumber.
And just as I thought that rainbows are colorful,
I became too dark for a nightmare.

I have watched all your angles shift
So do mine, switched.
Let me have that kiss of yours
And I promise to take you to Paris.

That trinklet he sent to you means more
Than my bouquet of daises,
And so I evolved as I rotated,
I revolved around the Sun of our love.

I've been too faithful and fortunate,
I forgot that you belong to someone else's universe
My universe lies empty without you,
My stars won't speak the truth.

I lended enough time for you,
I still don't get why love is a stone
Until you said that it's everywhere,
Taken for granted.

Thinking that you'd choose a planet for a star.
Depression starts to eat me,
I wanted to float, to fly,
But I ended up hanging on the ceiling.

I went to the conclusion
That there will be no resolution.
My obsession keeps me circling to you,
So kill the harbringer, and I'll send you the imaginary axis.
