Send Me The Latent Cosmos Poem by Julian Carlos Co

Send Me The Latent Cosmos

Rating: 5.0

I was never a fond of your tactics
Just a pinch of your beauty.
The luxury of that love is shallow
It never did hit the shore.

I bought every word you sold
Thinking you're one of 'The Veracious'
Nearly have you caught me off guard
Nearly did you stole my gem.

Just merely thinking of you
Makes my heart tingle in place,
But so does my mind irritates me,
For you are a deception.

I have deciphered your honorless code,
Breaking hearts you say,
Nearly have broke my walls.
Nearly have reached the shore.

So now, I keep the space.
You are a void that swallows matter,
A blackhole of blackholes,
My cosmos lies hidden from you.

You wanted me to be a planet,
In your collections of universes.
But I am a universe of my own,
I will not lose sight for a beautiful nebula.

And so for that matter, it's quite solid.
Black skies, brown leaves, white clouds,
Thin twigs, formed cliffs, cheesy smile.
Mother Earth won't allow this.

The stars look plain
It sure does hurt like hell.
An art of deception indeed,
So create a masterpiece, and I'll send you the latent cosmos.
