Senses Rudely Awakened Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Senses Rudely Awakened

Exciting, daring music of a fiddle to take us on a ride
through adventure and life in an imposing string of
rhythms, living life.

A total train ride into lands of fantasy and imagination,
nothing coming close to the intrigue and concentration
flowing out of the violin.

Portraying beauty and wonder of this entire life in just
a matter of notes, tempos, tones and explicit measures
of rhythms.

Faster than the speed of sound and light, touching fibers
and particles of the mind, heart and body, causing senses
to be rudely awakened, yet they're loving it totally.

A wanton abandonment treading within where life is also
craving an intense discovery through adversity and a
spontaneous combustion.

Playing, totally attuned to ideas and concepts as mind
flows rapidly into the magic and mystery of intuitive
blessings from above.

Riding storms of rhythms faster and faster into creative
processes, an instilled sense of joy and happiness fill-
ing this being within.

Enlightening spirit, soul and heart with an innate wisdom
and knowledge, racing through measures of time, place and
rhythms.

Voicing the Divine through a universal language of music
that cannot be taken for granted nor be denied while the
music continues to play through to it's end and beyond.
