September Is The Yellow Month Poem by Rev. Rebecca Guile Hudson

September Is The Yellow Month

September’s a month full with yellow days
Awash in tiny butterflies, a dancing yellow haze
That flutters constantly above long rows of yellow maize
While graceful flowers follow the sun with their steady, yellow gaze

Late summer sunsets fan their slanted yellow rays
Across flourishing fields of daisies, a brilliant yellow blaze
While school buses awake to start their yellow ways
And early autumn’s chill in leaves of yellow plays
