September Song Poem by Alesia Leach

September Song

September is here.
The sky is bright and clear.
Corn is ripening, thick and brown.
Apples are falling to the ground.

Leaves rustle in the breeze.
Color begins to fade from the trees.
Soon the children will start school.
While the morning is heavy with dew.

Shorter days in golden hues.
Some to feel the melancholy blues.
Nights breezes have begun to cool.
The sky is bright with the Harvest Moon.

Lovely picture of the surroundings in the month of September and the changes in Nature in the cusp between Summer and Autumn! Here in my part of the country, September is the season of harvest!
