Serozha Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Serozha

Sergey

A child, a teenager
Serozha had his driver
KGB head was his father.
Lenin Abad, Stalinist Uzbek
Married his Tavarish, Ukrainian.

“Mr. Gorbachev, tear Berlin Wall.”
The plan was long before Reagan.

Rose republics.
Rulers of the past
The blue eyed Russians
Turned into unwanted trash.

Feather like in the air, no balance.

Wars broke, lives taken, new corrupts.

Central Asian, Eastern European, blood
Joblessness, hunger, competitions, Kiev

Sergey is on the go as are many others
Reagan died as a hero, Gorbachev…
An unanswered question…
