Set Out To Have Fun Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

Set Out To Have Fun

Rating: 2.5

I set out to have fun,
But thanks to rain we got to run,
When on the run we had fun
Drenched fully from top to bottom,
Expected a rainbow but didn’t see one,
Had a cup of coffee after shopping was done,
Every now and then we had to fathom
That this isn’t going to last long,
Now I think of one old song
And I would like to sing along,
Once I move out, this song
Would remind me of the people here,
And I would always wait to hear
From them at least once every year.
