Settle The War Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Settle The War

A whispered plea across the miles,
Let fighting cease, let softness smile.
Two leaders speak with voices strong,
In hopes that peace can now prolong.

No more the hurt, no
more the fear,
A quiet world we hold
so dear.
The words are said, a hopeful sound,
Will common ground at last be found?

The hours tick, the days
go by,
Beneath a watchful,
patient eye.
Will promises like seeds take root,
Or wither fast, bearing no fruit?

Time alone will hold the keyTo what the future comes to be.The future waits, a breath held tight, For peace to bloom and stars shine bright.
