Settlement Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Settlement

Settlement

When sky broke wind
Had its back toward me
Lucky though I felt since
Blizzard hit hard but
Did not feel the stink.

After gusts of last night
The morning blanket of sky
Kept blue in most parts
With edges badly worn
Some sort of yellowish
That turned gold with day rise.
