Sex (A Celebration Of Life) Poem by Randy McClave

Sex (A Celebration Of Life)

They say that sex is the celebration of life
So, being a Christian man I took myself a wife,
Life with my wife joyfully I wanted to celebrate
Every night I wanted a repeat of our romantic date.
In our joviality and celebration I wanted to be a giver
With all my desires and lust I wanted to give her,
My wife then told me that she was no whore;
So, I celebrate life no more.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I remember many, many years ago, Dr. Ruth once said, "Sex Was A Celebration Of Life", so after remembering that, I wrote this poem, with a little twist.
