Sexism In Language

You don't say
'gold-fever rarely strikes the poet
as he's already on a lucrative lode'
without implying that
a female poet is more easily struck.

You say
'already on lucrative lodes,
poets aren't easily struck'
and then you can say
'their lodes are richer
than any reliant on luck.'
