Sexual Repression Poem by Timothy Long

Sexual Repression

This feeling won't go away,
It's torture you see,
Craving what I can't get,
But liking what I always see,
Some days I feel free,
Others make me want to die,
The truth is you get to cry,
Some in life don't try,
Why try if what you want doesn't come to you?
Eventually loneliness will come and go,
But the wanting fades thankfully humans desire it for years,
A rather savage desire,
However many will not get the chance,
Mine passed me by years ago,
Embrace this change,
Get away from the judgements of society,
Don't beg or try to change it,
If you fail,
They will still call you names even if it succeeds,
All it would take is one small mistake to go back,
You can't take it out on others,
Do it to yourself,
They are not to blame for your pain,
Blame genetics,
Or your standards,
Get used to being alone,
It's all I deserve as life has shown!
