Shadow Kisses Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Shadow Kisses

With a candles light dancing along the walls,
it was as if we sank into the music.
Losing ourselves completley in a fleshy desire,
a sinful pleasure.
My heart raced as her body pulled next to mine,
her heart echoed through her chest along with mine.
Reality can so easily slip away,
with a touch, a kiss.
Thoughts running through my mind,
like a leaf blown by an endless breeze.
She has captured my heart.
Her eyes gave hope to a smile on my face,
each breath a new.
Her soul, had shivered close to mine,
closest in a long time.
I was almost terrified to let her in,
but subconciously knew it was safe.
I'd opened my life to her,
and given her a special spot.
She'd wrapped me around her finger,
as she pulled me towards her heart.
