Shadows Highlight Vacant Space Poem by Sue Sure

Shadows Highlight Vacant Space

Rating: 5.0

Shadows highlight vacant space
Where the sun hasn't spoken for days.
And I learned something new today
I think the sky's opening up for me.
If I could hold the clouds apart for a few more seconds just to swallow some more sun
I'd like to be up on that roof to really
get back the old tones I lived in.
Dreamy and dreadfully bright on a moss-covered
roof
