Shadows To Sunshine Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Shadows To Sunshine

A tiny cry, a sound so small,
Stopped her walk, about to fall.
By the road, in grass so green,
A little black ball could be seen.

She stooped down low, with gentle hand,
A kitten found, in this strange land.
Its eyes looked dim, could barely see,
A damaged sight, for all to be.

But love arrived, a guiding light,
An angel found, shining so bright.
No longer lost, no longer alone,
A family's heart, now it had known.

Food and water, a welcome sight,
Then a warm bath, clean and bright.
A doctor's care, the vet's soft touch,
For a kitty who had suffered much.

Now safe and warm, day and night,
Bathed in love, a happy light.
The luckiest cat, in all the town,
No longer lost, no longer down.
