Shaman Poem by johannes lewinsky

Shaman

The greatest illness of mankind is not tuberculosis
But people who put someone down behind their back
Can you imagine a time when we all can live
in a circle and cannotsee each other's backs

It takes a long time to become what we're becoming
To feel the rivers in the blood
To see the stars in each other's eyes
To feel the wind in the breath

It is about becoming the medicine man
In your own life the healer
About finding a way to re member
Re constitute limb by limb your life your self

And melt the ice in the heart of man so you can
Walk tall as you were meant to walk
For times and times to come
