Shame Poem by Jane Allen

Shame

The rain reminds me of my tears
With each dropp that falls, brings so many fears
The past is the past and will always remain
It will always be there to bring back the pain
There's things that I've done I'll always regret
Everyday i live and will never forget
The memories i have will forever haunt me
As long as i breath, i will never be free
I cant seem to lift this black cloud
And i know I'll never make my family proud
I've hit rock bottom, I'm on an all time low
Pretending to be OK when its all for show
I cant keep up the pretense anymore
My heart is bruised, its far too sore
This is all my fault, its me to blame
I'm the one who brought the shame
How can i ask anything of anyone
After everything that i have done
I cant change yesterday, but i can change tomorrow
One last time i will ever cause sorrow

Very good content, and I like the way the rythmn and rhyme flow through it. There was just one or two line length issues that may be easily corrected. Most Enjoyable Steve
