Sharks Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sharks

Sharks

I feel me catholic on my knees
Oh father I confess to my sin:
"I saw them…yes I did.
I saw them under knife.
Stood there and observed.
Not even a step to be help."

That scene is in my mind
Everywhere; all the time.

I saw them; were alive.

Two babies side by side
In tummy of their Mom
Like the lamb killed alive
For masters' curly caps
Butcher killed the mother
To catch the fetus child
He skinned the fetuses
Closed eyes; while alive.

Their act and Philippines's
With ballot (chick in egg)
Are cruel; almost same.

Lord, oh king
Beg you please
To forgive sinner's sin
I watched the fisher men
Cut tummy of poor sharks.

And I saw the babies
Saw twins; side by side.

I confess to my sin
I observed and saw it.
