Sharon Otieno's Baby Poem by Charles Jagongo

Sharon Otieno's Baby

Rating: 5.0

From Kodera forest,
News filled the air,
The old man coughed pettily,
Pregnant Sharon Otieno's body,
Was lying in wet blood,
He had seen fetuses,
Whose Lives were squeezed out,
with their mothers,
Who wore plastic smiles,
With deep tormented souls,
Never to count day-lights,
Out through the window,
Birds flew in patterns,
Beauty the baby will never see,
For who did he wrong?
Tears roll down the cheeks,
The old man lets it freely.
