She Poem by Patti Masterman

She

she, who once deserted you;
took your children away, when she left you,
storm brewing inside that abandoned
bastardized citadel of self,
left you with only the fangs
and the instinct, born of pain,
to inject all your impotent rage
into every other female
who came near enough-
but perhaps those petrified kisses, too
were already full of an immature venom
just biding it's time, to sicken and maim..
