She Has Changed!

He tended to like her
plain and simple chic
until a day he found her
enwreathed with mystique.

Shunned from her novel wings,
he withdrew
unaware he was the root,
they outgrew.

Aghast she sheared off
her wings and bled.
she now looked ugly and bare
clumsy to cognize, further he fled.

She has changed! , he exclaimed.
