POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
mammatocumulus (meaning 'mammary cloud') ,  is a meteorological term applied to a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. They are most often associated with the anvil cloud and also regarded as ominous sign
of possible thunderstorms or might actually be seen after the thunderstorm passes. A picture of
mammatocumulus below as observed by Kathmanduites some time ago.

Mammatus Clouds. sagging pouch-like structures. Mammatus are pouch-like cloud structures and a rare example of clouds in sinking air. satanic beauty.......... whether devilish notes can be described as beauty...........ends with a powerful and destructive thunderstorm....... very nice Haiku..... my dear poetess. thank you. tony

then, 'in common practice', how do you call your fellow citizens living in Kathmandu?

Well ' Kathmanduite' is the proper English word to be used. I meant in common practice, in Nepali, we call 'Kathmandu basi' 'Kathmandu resident.'

Daniel would say 'Excelsior'! :) you've added a very good note on mammatocumulus.. with an impressive pic.. and I've learned that you folks, living in Kathmandu, are 'Kathmanduites' ;)

Thank you and my gratitude to Daniel..well 'Kathmanduite' is more of urban word with recent etymology I guess, used more in articles and magazines than in common practice!

the only 'sort of critique' is.. maybe not everybody know what a 'mammatocumulus' is.. ;) a Nature-image described in a 5-7-5 syllables pattern.. a '-' as a kireji, cutting/dividing the 2 parts.. and a little 'oh' of 'surprise' before the beauty of Nature.. yes.. perfect.. ;)
