She Is My Love Poem by Cathy Shao

She Is My Love

Sometimes she smiles cheerfully like a sweet cherry

Sometimes she loses her temper jumping like a bouncing ball

Sometimes she tells you stories that are full of imagination

Sometimes she speaks words that are coined by herself

Every now and then

She draws pictures that make you go Wow

Every now and then

She reads words in books that make you wonder how she has learned them

She sings a bit out of tune; she dances somewhat hilariously

She folds colorful square paper; she makes great little books

She is my delight

She is my joy

She is my love

Always and forever
