She Killed Me Poem by Lyssa Renea

She Killed Me

The sickening sounds of a child’s scream
The agonizing sight of her eyes on me
Blood runs cold on this sad, sad night
As people everywhere cower in fright
They see the pain wrapped around my body
A sight to be described as very ungodly
The knife in my chest twisted and turned
As the city around us fell and burned
My tears ran solid, making pools at me feet
She laughed in my face, laughed at my defeat
Under my feet, the world shook and shivered
As every plant was killed and withered
She killed everyone she looked at
Sly and sleek and evil as a cat
My world cascaded to the ground around her
Making me love her further, and further
I died that moment, that sickening night
When everyone told me I should run or fight
I gave her my life and I believed
The world revolved around her, as she deceived,
This poor little child, this poor little girl
She made my head spin and she made my head whirl
I cried in pain as she stabbed my chest
As she laid me down to my final rest
