She truly meant that much to me
As I think while going across the sea,
And as the plane is flying
I of course in my soul am softly crying.
I now reflect back to her in my past
As I wished and hoped that it would had last
Then I remember the many smiles
As we flew for many miles.
I have achieved all that I have ever wanted
No more am I daunted,
But, even with family and friends I am alone
No one ever hears my moan.
As I peer out of the airplane's window
I just sometimes want to let go,
I remember how much better my life once was
When, I truly was in love.
Though this sounds very mad
I would give up all that I ever owned or ever had,
To be where I once had been
To be there just one more time again.
As we fly over the mighty ocean
I wish deeply I had a magic potion,
Which that I could wear it as a myrrh
So, I could spend just one more day with her.
