She's Gotta Say, "Yes" Poem by Randy McClave

She's Gotta Say, "Yes"

Before you put on your suit and tie
To turn yourself into that attractive guy,
Before you shower and brush your teeth and hair
And find that perfect look for you to wear;
Think, before those flowers you want to buy.

Before you make your dinner arrangement
To feel the night with sheer entertainment,
Before you plan on what movie or show to see
And who will be joining you in your company;
Think, before you call the hotel management.

Before your love or your desire you must confess
When you finally see her in that short black dress,
Before she comes and answers her front door
And then you lead her to a club with a dance floor;
She's first gotta say, "Yes".
