She Still Flies Poem by Swabhiman Sahu

She Still Flies

Rating: 1.0

She still flies
When no one dared
When no one cared
When no one could give
A feather to her wings
She still flies.
When no one willed
But want her killed
She born with faulty fate
And danger in her cries
She still flies.
Whenever she wore
A fear in her core
Whenever she got
A burn on her thighs
She still flies.
Her eyes melt her tears
Her heart beat her fears
And tears could have melt
the dreams in her eyes
She still flies.
She dreams to ride over
The heights of the tides
To chisel away her fear
And rise above the skies.
She still flies.
Sometimes her dreams
Got hidden within him
Sometimes she forgot them
For all of his smiles.
She still flies.
She still flies with
The feathers of joy beneath
And wishes to help others
Untill she dies
She still flies.
