Imagination Poem by Swabhiman Sahu

Imagination

If given wings, it flies in the sky unknown
Bringing down unending joys from heaven
Appears in the form of a smile
Giving contempt to the heart within.

If given words, translates itself into
poem
Expressing unending desires into life's
rhythm
Sometimes uplifts the soul
Sometimes removes the pain.

If given colours, spreads along with a brush
Extracting beauty from the nature's purse
Brodening our narrow view
Gives the painting its devine touch.

If given shelter, it lives in the room of heart
When unending dreams take a new birth
Stealing dreams from our sleep
And imagination lands on the earth.
