She Thought To Cry - Poem by Deci Hernandez

She thought to cry
i didn't know why
It didn't matter
She wouldn't bother

The gates gave way
Each tear a day
Like weights of fodder

Her eyes are heavy
As painful painful memories
like parachutes of truth
Leave her body
No denying
No turning back

Her eyes are gates
Of painful days
giving way
To weights
Of actions unamed
