She Waits (A Song) Poem by Gulliver Gimble

She Waits (A Song)

She waits for summer rain, on a winters day.
She waits for someone better, someone better who stays.......
All the way.

Count the endless days, that pass you by.
Count the heartbeats pounding, pounding as she cries.........
All the lie's.

Remember all the reasons, the reasons why.
Remember all the treasures, all the treasures you find.........
In his eyes.

Take a flight to Memphis, or maybe home.
Take a flight to some place, where she can be alone..........
On her own.

She waits for summer rains, on a winters day.
She waits for love again, love that calms the day...........
Anyways............
