To hold her for so long
as the sun promises
not to set but to her belong
He wants her
to remain within him
as long as the night
sleeps
an eternal life
they both want
to weave into each
without the distance
of sun and moon
they both want to entwine
like summer vine
ere sets in the autumn of life
soon the weather will change
they still within each others arms
want to for ever remain
permanently like glue
simply one out of the blue
these love birds two
follow them will you
love abounds
in pure hearts only
heart beatssimply slowly
till the rush of tsunami
makesthemshatter
the walls of existence may be
they alone will for each other
for ever be
follow them two will ye
like pigeons two
you could be
I liked this poem of yours. It feels as if the emotions pour out live making it be visible and real expressing the true essence lovebirds often feel and try to overcome. Thankyou for this beautiful poetic expression. To hold her for so long as the sun promises not to set but to her belong....so beautiful opening. And this alone is life Is she a willing wife.....this sums up your poetry like a gem. Many admirations for bringing up this beautiful piece. Thank-you once again.

This is a great verse, Poet...It deals with profound emotions from the perspective of acknowledging innocence. Yet there is a tinge of sadness...that of which you write may be; it is not that which must be. Exceptionally well done.
