She Wins Poem by Randy McClave

She Wins

We continued to argue and to fight
Of course, I was wrong and she was right,
I showed her the details that documented my case
She in turn showed me some skin, and lace.
With my truth I was definitely bound
With all the facts that I had found,
But, she just hummed the tune to her favorite song
Not proving that she was right, and that I was wrong.
Then I showed her both exhibits "A" and "B"
Of course she had no info to present unto me,
This one argument she was not going to win
Just because she's a woman, I am not backing down again.
There was no more details or evidence to be presented
I was right and she was wrong, that I again hinted,
To her I confidently smiled and said that she had erred
At me she just defiantly smiled, and stared.
I looked at her and with a smirk I said now where is your proof
Now she seemed concerned, and not as aloof,
She then pulled up her blouse and show me her breasts;
She wins, our case now forever rests.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A friend of mine had a cartoon pic of a woman raising her blouse which ended an argument. I thought it was funny, so I wrote this poem.
