Shed Light Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Shed Light

If at all we fight
To prove right
It shall not be to our delight
As no solution shall be in sight

We may kill many more
To explore
Hegemony all over
But finally shall find no cover

It is useless
To face
Murderous onslaught
That was not needed to be sought

Let us create heaven
And not remain
Desperately driven
For going wrong even

It shall be too late
To state
What was wrong or right?
We shall be then no more to shed light
