Shell Spaceship Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Shell Spaceship

Shell spaceship

Journalist went met him
He is archaeologist.

"Now I have gift for you, "
He whispered with smile
Camera showed her heart
It beat hard with throb…

It was like UFO
A fossil on the rock.

Somehow looked squid
Or tortoise, or something.

Strange was the shell
On slab of stone, mosaic…

They lifted and brushed,
For wrapping, came the time.

Cushion was plastic!
And tape was plastic!
And box was plastic!

They kill Earth to find it,
What the hell to call this?

Feel sorry for mankind
Have claims as vast as
The oceans and skies
While is tiny, small,
Crazy, out of mind.

"Discovered, " if we shout
Is because have no mind
Or awareness about
The basics, foundation,
Origins, creation…

Wish I lived like the past
Particle of the dust.
