Shelly Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Shelly

Shelly

Everyone has reason
Mine can be special.

What is mine?

Returning to school…
Intrigues, listen good
Passengers are teachers
I owe them…

Meredith's talk of church:
'The king died in palace.
Powers gone; no income;
now rents parts, and the rooms.
Their price very good.'

Sarah taught history:
'The Russian victories,
invasions with Cossacks
wrongly called the Slav.'

Mike's comment on village:
'Toronto's Liberty…pride-shame,
they made arms; worst treat of women.'

Have listened bars' mixing
and the cook's recipe
and Shelly: "Get my food."

Passengers; mostly good
Have bags full;
The Good, Bad, and ugly

Even bad is teacher….
And I learn; regardless!
if Steph or Amy; cruelness.
