Shimmering Lights Poem by james watkin

Shimmering Lights

Alert to which impulse
Or to it, re-awoke
Elsewhere, not so unearthly
For the pure feminine
Who, drawn to, not only
And led by, rapt, away
A swan, bright dissolves with it
But a smile; here banked. Mine!
