Ship Poem by Luke Hobbs

Ship

Rating: 5.0

twelve years, old friend,
I was always here
they've all sailed away,
I'm always here,
and it's your turn now,
it's your turn,

remembrance is regret,
so willing to forget,
all that could have been,
if you had only asked,

little girl, teary eyes,
surfacing silent cries,
hell's hands do not hold,
here, you belong,
there is fellowship,

look after her,
I will,
the least,
I do,
for her,
for you,
return,
until you return
