Ship Of Life Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Ship Of Life

Rating: 5.0

Aboard the ship of life we sail
Swaying steadily side to side,
Attempting to conquer hardships
As if floatng with the tide.

We encounter problems like the wind
Tugging at us with all of its might,
But with faith and strong convictions
Will supress all obstacles in sight.

It is foolish to become vexed or worried,
Confront the hardships and sail on,
Live and enjoy the bright, rising sun
Upon the break of dawn.

Aboard the ship of life we sail
With Providence as our guiding mate,
And day after day sail on and on,
Hopefully to finally reach the pearly gate.
