Shoals on the sea
Rocks
Where sirens stood
Little islands
That hide in the night
Vessels know of these
They have to zigzag or
Run aground
The waters
Whisper
They hear them
And
The shoals rustle
As grains of sand
Turned here and there
And with fury
Tossed
Occasionally:
Ah! the mass universe
Has ensured these
So many centuries gone
And yet to come!
