Should Have Been Me Poem by Anisa Tara

Should Have Been Me

That one day, when finality hits you,
And desire becomes a faint light,
Of dreams gone and done for,
A fire she can no longer ignite,
And life passes you by,
With careless, convenient uncertainty,
I hope you wish with all your heart,
That it should have been me.
