Should We Poem by Aaron Carmichael

Should We

Should we step away, make it a day? ,
lye down and close your eyes,
There would be nothing you would have to say,
just take my hand,
you don't have to look back,
you don't have to remember October, November, & September,
they're not going anywhere, forever, whether unaware,
if you look back, back they stare,
it's nothing can't repair,
we're well comprimised, taken the time to realize,
that an open mind is powerful.

The last line is really lovely. (you've commented on my poem, so i've decided to take a look at yours ( :) I think there are a few spelling and grammar errors, but for your first poem on this web, it's really good!
