Shouts My Delhi! Poem by Abhisumat Singh

Shouts My Delhi!

' You promised to free me from this
dirt; You said you'll unhook me from
these locks. You failed

You made various stratagems to show
that you were right; You wove some
dreams, but those remain unseen.

I'm tired of your blemishing trials,
your failing powers, your endeavors.

Now, I beg you to leave me alone,
on my own, as I was before. I'll do
what I can; Just set me free. '

This poem manifests the poet tidiness with his surrounded people and eager to go back in to the person of the free and unbounded to his affections.
