Shut On The World A Stout Door Poem by james watkin

Shut On The World A Stout Door

Shut on the world a stout door
Behind you. Ignoring
What of it yet shakes one's nerve
Disturbed; so deplored in.

Be not mistaken. That heard
For gusts' outbursts, senseless
I warn, its voice, that rants, raves
Ruins one's peace does express.
