Shyness Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Shyness

Introversion
Just home from an art exhibition
brought a couple of poetry to read
but I didn't stay long left my books
on a shelf and sneaked out.
In the old days a glass of red win or
so helped me overcome my natural
shyness, but my hands were shaking
spilling the water in my glass on to
the canape
My shyness is the bane of my life I‘m
supposed to sell books not give them away
It is a phobia and it appears there are
Many this suffer from this annoying
crawling obsession.
