Sibyl Poem by Jackson Smith

Sibyl

Lightest cloud beneath the moon,
A silver thread on darkened dune,
Sibyl walks these forest trails
She finds tracks in moonlight pale.

In the rivers she swims,
On the lakes she walks.
She makes rocks seem like mountains,
and mountains like rocks.
Kings and trees tremble as she talks.

So Sibyl tell me, tell me my future
Say I am not just another man
Sibyl come here, tell me what to say.
I'll say it! I'll say it so long as you stay.

But words; they cut deep as knives
And the fates can be cruel,
Kings just want to live their lives.
So Sibyl, simply know the futures,
They'll simply follow with you.

While Sibyl you live with ghosts,
You read the day while still in the dark
So you know: I will carry your heart,
And you'll carry me till tomorrows start.

i verry much like this poem. it reminds me of somthing, but i cant quite place it. but it is an amazing write. i verry much like it. it starts out mysterious, then you keep reading it and it tells a story... kinda. depends on how you look at it. anyhow i like it. nice right Poet Smith.
