Siddhartha Poem by Zara O

Siddhartha

I find too many places to close my eyes
Don't you mind what's on my mind
I'm super aware of the flow, but I
tend to stick to what I know
I'm aware that my heart is so blinded
If only I'd let go I'd find it
Somewhere beneath what is known

That's what Siddhartha has taught to me
Let go accept all that once has been
And you'll find your soul is at once released
Peace is the goal or it is for me

Now that I'm fully in tune with the great divine
How could I let myself turn a blind eye
Lost and forsaken if I don't suffice
To forget what is worldly and let it pass by
No pain in heartbreak if I'm still alive
Just let that river go passing me by
Let it wash over no need for goodbyes

That's what Siddhartha has taught to me
Let go accept all that once has been
And you'll find your soul is at once released
Peace is the goal or it is for me
